LESSON ON INVESTMENT PIECES!

5/25/2012
Lately, I've become the kind of shopper that would rather spend her money on something that was really worth it rather than shopping for a bunch of little things. I feel this is because throughout the years I have become more creative in finding different alternatives to using that one "investment piece". For some, an investment piece might be a fur coat (i would never! Why harm little animals when you can get the same look with faux-fur?) and for other an investment piece might be something like the sequin skirt below. It is $250, for some this may be nothing, but for others it is a lot of money to spend on a skirt that you think you will only use a couple times... WRONG. Below are six different ways to use this Juicy Couture skirt depending on the place you are going, or the personality that you have or simply on the mood that you're on that day. A skirt like this IS really worth buying because in a way its a neutral piece that you can take from night to day and vice versa. Hope this helps some of you and opens your mind and inspires some creativity when mixing and matching.

The Juicy Couture mini skirt is found on Net-a-Porter, click here to shop away! :)
