I grew up with the scent of Chanel N5 around my house. Until this day, it is my grandmother's favorite scent and just like me, I'm sure many of you grew up with that scent around your houses and around your childhood memories as well. It is that iconic perfume that everyone that we love- knows about, has tried on or owns. When I found out Chanel N5 was going to be reinvented I was a little surprised as everyone is with change at first. Chanel's in house perfumer, Olivier Polge's interpretation of Chanel N5 "L'Eau" is all about giving the younger generation the best of the original but with the things we all now appreciate: purity, modernity and freshness.
It's fresh as it has citrus notes of lemon, mandarin and orange amongst others, it still has the lingering scent of jasmine and as a new addition, cedar wood has been incorporated as a base note. Most importantly, the beautiful soft scent of roses is still there and it is certainly my favorite. Just like the original, Chanel N5 L'Eau has the power of making you feel unique, confident and feminine but this new expression is like magic in a bottle made for the younger and dynamic women of today!

Yo crecí con la fragancia de Chanel N5 alrededor de mi casa. Hasta el dia de hoy es la fragancia favorita de mi abuela, y asi como yo, me imagino que muchos de ustedes crecieron alrededor de ella en sus casas y alrededor de sus memorias de su infancia también. Es el iconico perfume de la casa de Chanel que alguien que amamos seguro lo conoce, lo ha probado o lo tiene. Cuando me enteré que el perfume iba a ser reinventado, me sorprendí mucho asi como muchos lo hacemos cuando se trata del cambio. El perfumista de la marca, Olivier Polge realmente enfocó este cambio en darle la atención a la generación joven y poder otorgarles lo mejor del original pero añadiendo muchos ingredientes que la generación joven aprecia: la pureza, la modernidad y la frescura.
La frescura del nuevo Chanel N5 L'Eau viene de las notas cítricas de limón, mandarina y naranja, tiene todavía el suave tono de jasmin y la base de madera de cedro se ha incorporado en esta nueva version. Mi favorito: la dulce y delicada escencia y fragancia de las rosas permanece en este perfume y es vital para la nueva expresion del iconico N5. L'Eau está hecho para la mujer joven y dinámica de esta generación, pero tal como la fragancia original, tiene el poder de hacerte sentir única, con auto confianza y femenina.
