There's nothing in the world I love more than traveling. 2016 has been my most travelled year yet and because of it, it has been the most memorable year because of the people I have met, the experiences I have lived through and the beautiful places that I have been in. My latest trip was to Miami, a place I have been to many times for a specific reason- it is my #1 place I love to escape to. Maybe it's the beach, the environment or the million things there is to do there, but Miami will always be 'vacation' to me, even if I go for work. Doing things different than what I usually do, this time around I actually visited a couple of new places and made a list for you guys- my favorite places and must see locations in Miami. Let's get started!
1. There is NO place in Miami like South Beach and it's atmosphere. Maybe it's the art deco buildings on Ocean Drive, the vibe of the people or the scenery as a whole- but it's something special. Once you set foot there you will get why it is so popular.
2. Lincoln Road- Great little place for grabbing a bite and going shopping! I ate at Sushi Samba twice just because I love sushi so much but Meat Market is really good as well. Shopping there is great: the Intermix store has some great little finds.
3. You know me, I live for fashion, therefore the Miami Design District was an absolute must! This little 'neighborhood' is filled with the best of fashion houses including Fendi, Dior, Versace, Cartier, Tom Ford, Hermes, and many, many more! Even if you dont plan on shopping, it's so beautiful to walk around and admire all the architecture!
4. I love traveling and staying in a nice place because the older I get, the more I like to stay in, get good food and relax. When I travel I usually go for work as well, therefore I like a place where I can find some sort of peace and tranquility. My favorite place in Miami is The Edition- hands down.
5. I've become more of a day person lately, but every now and then I like to go out for a drink and have some fun- especially when I'm traveling. This time around I visited this awesome bar at the East Hotel called Sugar. Highly recommended! Also, the restaurant Watr at the rooftop of the 1 Hotel is yummy and beautiful!
6. Wynwood is a must for art lovers! Dont miss out on this one if you're like me who just happens to take a picture on any fun wall I see.
I think I could go on forever. Miami just happens to have everything you could ever want: the beach, great nightlife, excellent cuisine and restaurants, fun-loving people and superb shopping. In all honesty, a girl can't ask for more! I hope you guys enjoyed this post and got to feel a little inspired on what this beautiful place is all about. We will see where 2017 takes us!

No hay nada que ame más en este mundo que viajar. En sÃ, creo que este 2016 ha sido mi año más viajado de mi vida y por ende se ha convertido en mi año más especial gracias a todas las personas que he conocido, las experiencias que he vivido y los lugares que he visitado. Mi último viaje fué a uno de mis lugares favoritos, un lugar que he ido varias veces porque nunca deja de ser el perfecto lugar de escape- Miami! No se si es la playa, el ambiente en si, o las millones de cosas que hay para hacer ahi, pero Miami siempre grita 'vacación' para mi! Aunque esta vez fui un poco por trabajo, también me di mi tiempo para divertirme y aquà los dejo con una pequeña lista de lugares que visité y sé que a ustedes también les encantará!
1. No hay lugar en Miami que se compare a South Beach y su ambiente. No se si es los edificios en Ocean Drive muy al estilo Art Deco, la contagiosa vibra de la gente que visita o el paisaje en general- pero realmente es un lugar especial. Tras que pisas South Beach entiendes porque este lugar es tan popular con los turistas.
2. Lincoln Road- Esta calle es super concurrida durante el dia y la noche ya que es perfecta para comer alguito y de paso ir de shopping! Yo comà dos veces en Sushi Samba porque simplemente amo el sushi, pero Meat Market también es un excelente restaurante. Si amas ir de compras como yo, te recomiendo Intermix- pillaras cosas muy especiales y piezas muy en tendencia.
3. Ustedes ya me conocen, vivo por la moda entonces visitar el Miami Design District era una parada obligatoria. Aquà si que tienes lo mejor de lo mejor- las casas de moda mas lujosas del planeta estan aquÃ. El MDD es el hogar de Fendi, Dior, Versace, Cartier, Tom Ford, Hermes y mucho mas! Es una locura si puedes hacer shopping ahi, pero yo no fui de compras, fui a mirar la hermosa arquitectura! Les juro que vale la pena visitar.
4. Cuando viajo realmente disfruto quedarme en un lindo lugar. Creo que es porque mientras cumplo mas años, mis prioridades cambian a tener un lugar de tranquilidad por el trabajo vs un lugar extremadamente divertido. Yo busco esa paz y tranquilidad pero también busco un lugar donde tengan buena comida :) Mi hotel favorito de Miami es The Edition, sin duda alguna.
5. Yo soy una persona que le saca provecho al dia, las noches- ya no tanto como antes! Eso si, cuando viajo, aprovecho siempre de conocer un poco de la vida nocturna del lugar. Esta vez salà a un hermoso bar que se los recomiendo 100%- se llama Sugar y está en el hotel East. Tomense una foto en el ascensor como yo en mi Instagram (aqui)- es loquÃsimo! Para comer deli, visiten Watr que esta arriba del hermosisimo 1 Hotel, en su rooftop.
6. Wynwood es un destino que todo amante del arte tiene que visitar! No se pierdan esta experiencia y si aman tomarse fotos en paredes creativas, enloquecerán en Wynwood!
Creo que pudiera continuar mi lista por horas. Miami es un lugar muy especial porque es realmente raro encontrar: playa, diversion nocturna, restaurantes de primer nivel, moda y shopping de locura, arte, arquitectura, y gente con chispa, todo en un mismo lugar. Si se ponen a pensar, que más puede una persona pedir? Espero hayan disfrutado este post y hayan podido vivir conmigo un poco de esta increÃble experiencia. Ya veremos donde nos llevará el 2017!
