BOLIVIA MODA OTOÑO/INVIERNO 2019- DIA 4

Despidiendo la cuarta y última noche del Bolivia Moda estuvieron grandes diseñadores y marcas nacionales como Alejandra Moreno, Asarti, Papingo Maminga, Alma, Vivi Mercado y mas! Espero que hayan disfrutado de estas cuatro noches cargadas de moda boliviana donde se vió el gran talento que tiene nuestra gente. Cuales fueron tus colecciones favoritas? Aqui les dejo un pantallazo de lo que fue esta ultima noche de la pasarela mas grande del pais: el BOMO 2019, de la mano de Pablo Manzoni.

WHAT I WORE: BOLIVIA MODA FALL/WINTER 2018

#MadeinBolivia. I had this post "in the oven" for a couple of days now but I have been so tired lately- getting over the jet lag and the 4 sleepless nights i spent taking and editing pics for Bolivia Moda (BOMO) that I couldn't get myself to finish it. I set myself to finish it as my Monday goal, so, here it is... the 4 looks I used during Bolivia Moda Fall/Winter! BOMO is my country's biggest fashion event and event where so many of our talented designers get to showcase their beautiful designs. I really am one to say that i LOVE wearing what is made in my country and I stand by the talent that our country has to offer. I hope you enjoy some of the looks I chose and please let me know in the comment box below what your favorite was!

Tenia este post 'en el horno' por unos cuantos días pero he estado tan cansada últimamente- con el jetlag y las 4 noches sin dormir que tuve durante el BOMO- que no lograba terminarlo. Como meta de dia lunes me propuse terminarlo y aqui está para todos ustedes! Mis 4 looks que usé durante el Bolivia Moda. Como muchos de ustedes saben, yo realmente disfruto y uso con orgullo los diseños de mi país. El usar lo que es #madeinbolivia es una de las formas mas fáciles de ayudar al crecimiento de esta industria que por mas pequeña sea, tiene grandes ansias de crecer. Cual de todos los looks fué tu favorito? 

LOOK 1: FRAME x VICKYS CASUAL

I traveled to Tarija, Bolivia a month before for a special project and took advantage to visit Vickys Casual's store and picked out my first look. I went for a red power suit- I thought it would be a great statement look to kick off the event! The pictures were taken at the iconic Casa Dorada and I absolutely loved the result- mixing traditional locations and fashion is what I'm all about! 

Viajé a Tarija, Bolivia para un proyecto especial un mes antes del Bolivia Moda y aproveché de visitar la tienda original de Vickys Casual y escoger mi primer look. Para el primer dia del BOMO opté por un look monocromatico- un traje rojo perfecto para arrancar con fuerza el Bolivia Moda. Las fotos las tomamos en la icónica Casa Dorada y me encantó el resultado de poder mostrar los encantos de nuestro país mezclado con moda. 

LOOK 2: IMPERIAL LOVE x NATASHA

For the second night of Bolivia Moda, I chose a dress from Bolivian designer Kathia Suarez Villavicencio and from her collection Imperial Love. The collection was filled with feminine and sophisticated dresses in beautiful pastel colors. I went for a pink nude makeup, emphasizing the skin with rose gold highlighter and went for a nude lip. All my makeup during the 4 days was in charge of Natura. 

Para la segunda noche del Bolivia Moda, escogí usar un diseño de Kathia Suarez Villavicencio y su marca Natasha. Este vestido era parte de su preciosa colección Imperial Love donde tenia un hermoso uso de telas y texturas que fueron vistos en una hermosa gama de colores rosas y nudes. Para complementar mi look, escogí un maquillaje también en tonos oro rosa y lo resalté con mucho iluminador. Durante las 4 noches del BOMO mi maquillaje estuvo a cargo de Natura. 

LOOK 3: ENVI DE MI x PAPINGO MAMINGA

For the third night of Bolivia Moda, I went for a look that was very commercial and on trend- something every girl wants to use and find its very easy to mix and match. In all honesty, the one thing I loved most about this look from Papingo Maminga was that it was dark and mysterious, but done so with the most fun and feminine ruffles. This was part of their collection "Envi de Mi". For the makeup, I went all rocker-ish with a double catline- at top and on bottom! 

Para la tercera noche del Bolivia Moda, escogí este look de la coleccion "Envi de Mi" que presentaron los diseñadores Daniel Ghetti y Marco Gutierrez de Papingo Maminga. Quise ir por un look diferente a lo que usaría, algo mas oscuro y misterioso pero sin perder el toque de feminidad que siempre me gusta- como lo vimos en los volados de la blusa y la falda. Para mi maquillaje, quise ir por un look mas rockero y usé una tendencia que está pegando mucho ahorita- la de doble delineado arriba y abajo. 

LOOK 4: CHIQUITANOS x DIABLA

Last but certainly not least, I went for the most unexpected look of them all (I think), for the last night of Bolivia Moda. When I was in Tarija, I also visited Julia Navajas and Pamela Gallardo, the designers of the Bolivian brand Diabla. We had two looks in mind but ended up going with the one people wouldn't expect to see me in. The other one was more 'princess-y' and more something I would usually wear. We went for an oversized mustard knit paired with with a sequins skirt. To top it off- did you see those amazing earrings and the belt bag? :) 

Sin duda alguna, cuando viajé a Tarija y escogi entre dos looks que las diseñadores Julia Navajas y Pamela Gallardo de Diabla tenían para mi, fuimos por el que ustedes menos esperararian. El primero era un look, igual de hermoso, pero mas estilo princesa y mas predecible quien sabe para mi. Optamos por este segundo, un tejido oversized con una falda de lentejuelas y algo fuera de mi zona de comfort, pero eso fué lo que mas me gusto! Ya vieron los aros y la riñonera? :)

Tercera y última noche del Bolivia Moda Primavera/Verano! Esta noche fué la noche de los grandes favoritos de los bolivianos! Para todos los que no pudieron asistir este sábado al BOMO aqui los dejo con un poco de lo mejor que se vio en toda la noche. Marcelo Rojas abrio el show, Natasha se lucio con su gran sofisticación, las diseñadoras de Diabla como siempre grandes favoritas y por supuesto Papingo Mamingo, grandes creativos- entre muchos otros! Todo a continuación!

15 LIES WE TELL OURSELVES ALL THE TIME!

As the year comes to an end, we always begin to think of all the new year resolutions we want to accomplish the following year. Rarely do we ever think of the things we already do and focus on changing those little things. Especially those that we tell ourselves are true, but actually aren't. Instead of doing my annual resolutions post, I thought I'd do something different this year! Inspired by this tee from Papingo Mamingo... How many of the following lies do you tell yourself? I'm guilty of so many of these, so I'm sure you can relate to one or two! Let me know on the comment box below which one you can relate to the most or if I missed one you often tell yourself!

Siempre cuando se aproxima el fin de año, uno se toma un momento para analizar no solo las cosas increíbles que nos pasaron a través del año pero también para pensar en resoluciones que queremos cumplir el siguiente año. En vez de hacer mi post de resoluciones como siempre lo hago, esta vez me inspiré en esta polera de Papingo Maminga. Porqué en vez de pensar en las nuevas metas que queremos trazar el 2018, nos ponemos a pensar en las cosas que debemos cambiar sobre nosotros? Como aquellas mentiras que nos decimos, pero que dentro de nosotros sabemos que no son verdad. Aqui van 15 de las mentiritas que nos decimos a diario- se sorprenderán de cuantas ustedes se dicen! Yo me digo unas cuantas a diario. 

1. I'LL START ON MONDAY. Diets, that essay you have a few days to turn in, the gym... for some, 'monday' turns into never. Get to it today and stop procrastinating. If your sentence begins with tomorrow, or even worse, Monday- you're leaving things behind that you should be doing today. 

* EL LUNES EMPIEZO. Dietas, el trabajo que tienes que entregar de la U, el gimnasio... para algunos 'lunes' se convierte en 'nunca'. Si tu oración comienza con "mañana" o peor aun "lunes"- estas dejando cosas para mas adelante que deberías estar haciendo hoy!

2. I'M TOO OLD FOR THAT. Biggest lie ever! Vera Wang became a designer at 40, Samuel L Jackson landed a role in Pulp Fiction at age 46, Henry Ford was 46 when he created the model T car, Julia Child made her television debut in The French Chef at 51. Still not convinced? Kerry Washington's first big role (Scandal) was at age 35- a little old for an actress some would say. Not for her! Finally, Susan Boyle became a famous singer at 47 and Nola Ochs became the oldest graduate in history to earn a degree at 96 years old! 

* ESTOY MUY VIEJO PARA HACER ESO. La mentira más grande de todas! Vera Wang se convirtió en diseñadora a los 40, Samuel L Jackson tuvo su gran momento en Pulp Fiction a los 46, Henry Ford creo el revolucionario modelo de autos T a los 46, Julia Child debutó en su programa The French Chef a los 51 años. Todavía no estas convencido? Kerry Washington tuvó su primer éxito en una serie (Scandal) a los 35- un poco mayor para ser actriz dirían algunos, no para ella. Finalmente, Susan Boyle se convirtió en una famosa cantante a los 47 y Nola Ochs se graduó de la universidad a los 96 años. En otras palabras, nada ni nadie debería detenerte! 

3. I DON'T CARE WHAT OTHERS THINK OF ME. Yes we do, we all do. In some way or another we do care what people think of us- the trick is caring about what SOME people think of us, not everybody. We should care what our parents thinks of us or your best friend because they really matter. 

* NO ME IMPORTA LO QUE LOS DEMAS PIENSEN DE MI. Si nos importa, decir que no, es mentirnos. El truco es que si nos importe lo que piensen de nosotros, ALGUNAS personas, no todas. Si importa que piensan nuestros padres o nuestra mejor amiga. Importa que piensan de nosotros las personas que son importante. 

4. IF I HAD _____, I WOULD BE HAPPY.  Love, money, success- is that what you are looking for to make you happy? Most human beings are in the search of finding things that "complete" our lives, when the truth is, we should be grateful for the little or big things we already have. 

* SI TUVIERA _____, SERIA FELIZ. Estás en búsqueda de amor, dinero, éxito- eso te hará feliz y completa? La verdad es que cada vez queremos más y más y no nos enfocamos en lo que ya tenemos y lo bendecidos que somos por tener lo que tenemos. Lo que tenemos debería ser suficiente para ser felices. Si Dios nos bendice con más de lo necesario, pues que suertudos somos.

5. NOBODY GETS ME. I used to say this to myself so much before. I used to think I was different, I didn't belong, I was born in the wrong place, 'nobody has been through what I've been', etc. It's not true. It's a matter of opening up to family members and to friends- there's always that one person that 'gets' you no matter what you think or what you've been through. They don't have to agree with you, they get you because they love you. 

* NADIE ME ENTIENDE. Antes yo me repetía esto una y otra vez- soy diferente, nadie ha pasado por lo mío, nací en el lugar equivocado, etc y es tan lejos de la verdad. Solo basta poner el esfuerzo y abrirse con alguien- con un familiar o con un amigo y te darás cuenta que siempre hay alguien que te entiende perfectamente. Lo hace no necesariamente porque ha vivido lo mismo que tu, pero porque te quiere.

6. I'M FINE! If you have to say this over and over, it probably means you're not fine. It's ok to let go and not be fine. It's also ok to ask for help. 

* ESTOY BIEN! Si tienes que repetírtelo mil veces, posiblemente no estés bien. Lo que si esta bien es admitir cuando tienes un problema y también está bien pedir ayuda. 

7. IF I HAD MORE TIME, I WOULD DO _____. We're always busy and never have time to do anything, right? Well not exactly. Life is about prioritizing- working hard on urgent things and working harder on important things. Don't forget that you should invest your time on the things that really matter and the things that really benefit you. That does not include Netflix. 

* SI TUVIERA MAS TIEMPO, HARIA ____.  Siempre estamos ocupados y nunca tenemos tiempo para hacer un montón de cosas, verdad? En la vida uno debe aprender a poner prioridades- lo importante viene primero que lo urgente.  Dejarias de hacer un examen final (de mayor importancia) porque tienes que salir a comprar un regalo para tu amiga que tiene cumpleaños en la noche (urgencia)? 

8. I HAVE TO BE PERFECT. We are so hard on ourselves. I am incredibly tough on myself, I will admit that I'm my toughest critic. The truth is we should learn to let go of this and learn to take care of ourselves, be kind with ourselves before we are kind with others.

* TENGO QUE SER PERFECTA. Muchas veces la presión que sentimos es por la presión que nosotros mismos nos ponemos encima. Tenemos que ser amables con nosotros mismos, cuidar de nosotros mismos y dejar a un lado ser tan duros con nuestro corazón, mente y cuerpo. 

9. I'M NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Following with the last one, we often not only want to be perfect but somehow find the way to put ourselves down on the way of trying to achieve that perfection. Yes you are good enough- you may be different than someone who you think is perfect, but no one's life is what it seems. Everyone has problems, not everyone shows them- especially on social media.

* NO SOY LO SUFICIENTEMENTE BUENA. En la búsqueda del punto anterior (tengo que ser perfecta), usualmente el camino esta lleno de "no soy lo suficiente buena" para esto o lo otro. Que triste es cuando nos bajoneamos en nuestro dia a dia, sin razón alguna. Siento que esto se ha intensificado para muchas jovencitas gracias a las redes sociales y es importante recordar de que todos subimos nuestras mejores fotos- no siempre es la realidad de como nos sentimos por dentro en ese momento. 

10. I DID EVERYTHING I COULD.  Did you, really? There's always room for growth, room to do more good, room to give a little more of yourself.

* HICE TODO LO QUE PUDE.  Enserio lo piensas? Siempre hay donde dar un poquito más y crecer un poco más. 

11. I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING WITH MY LIFE. Once again we are trying to be perfectionists with ourselves and our lives. It's ok to not have any idea of where you are standing, what you are doing or want to do in the future. What's not ok is to rest on it. Work each single day to get one step closer to fulfilling your dreams.

* SE LO QUE ESTOY HACIENDO CON MI VIDA. Una vez mas aqui nos sale lo perfeccionista en todos. Esta bien no saber donde estamos parados, que estamos haciendo o que queremos hacer con nuestras vidas en el futuro. Lo que no esta bien es no hacer absolutamente nada al respecto. Trabaja todos los días, en algo, aunque sea un poquito a la vez, para llegar mas cerca a cumplir tus sueños. 

12. I'LL BE THERE IN 15! This one goes to all my friends out there. I consider myself to be very good with this- but God knows I am one patient gal! :)

* YA LLEGO EN 15 MINUTOS!  Esto va para todos mis amigos- 95% de ustedes! :) 

13. HE/SHE WILL CHANGE FOR ME. This is not going to happen. First of all, it is very unlikely someone who is strong headed and knows who she/is will change for anyone. Second of all, why would they? We need to be with people who accept us as we are, and love us as we are... and vice versa!

* POR MI, CAMBIARÁ. En primer lugar esto no pasará. Primero que todo, es muy dificil que alguien que es una persona hecha y derecha cambie por alguien. En segundo lugar, porque deberían hacerlo? Nosotros merecemos estar con personas que nos acepten y nos quieran tal cual somos- por ende, nosotros también tenemos que amar y respetar como la otra persona también es.

14. I'M GOING TO BED EARLY TONIGHT. Days, weeks, months and years go by and I still lie to myself with this one. Example: It's 11 o clock right now and I am no where near calling it a night- I still have about two more hours to go.

* HOY ME IRÉ A DORMIR TEMPRANO. Me miento dia tras dia sobre esto y nunca mejoro. Por ejemplo: Ahora son las 11 de la noche y tengo por lo menos 2 horas mas para que termine todo lo que tengo que hacer. Es como la mentirita que también nos decimos: Me levantaré a las 6 para hacerlo. 

15. THIS IS WHO I AM AND I CAN'T/WON'T CHANGE. I left this one for last because this isn't a little lie, it's a big one. Believe me when I tell you that I am the most stubborn person on this planet, I am a Taurus after all. I have a hard time with change but I recognize that I am no where near perfect, that I am full of flaws and that I need to change along the way. Life throws curveballs at us all the time, and we have to be ready, to adapt, to grow and to become better as human beings when dealing with different circumstances. Yes, this is who I am but I CAN change.

* ASI SOY Y NO PUEDO/QUIERO CAMBIAR. Dejé este de ultimo porque pienso que es una de las mentiras más grandes que nos decimos todo el tiempo. Creanme cuando les digo que yo soy terca a morir, soy Tauro y sufro mucho con el cambio. A pesar de esto también reconozco que no soy perfecta, que soy una persona llena de defectos y que el cambio es necesario para mi y para todos. La vida constantemente nos lanza diferentes pruebas y tenemos que estar dispuestos a adaptarnos, a crecer y a convertirnos en mejores seres humanos cuando atravesamos momentos buenos y malos. Si esta soy yo, pero si puedo cambiar.

THE 5 BIGGEST BLOGGING LESSONS I'VE LEARNED

We are starting our countdown to what is The Big Brown Eyes' 5th BIRTHDAY and because of this I decided to make a lengthy blog post- one particularly helpful to anyone who is a current blogger or someone who wants to start a blog. I am no expert in this, but I have been through a lot these past 5 years and I'm happy to share some of the biggest lessons I've learned throughout these years. In terms of achievements, I am no where near where I want to be, but I certainly like the path I'm going. I will keep working with all I've got to achieve my goals and to follow my dreams. Blogging is not easy and if you plan to take this 100% seriously please read along! 

Estamos comenzando con el conteo de lo que es el aniversario #5 de The Big Brown Eyes! Por esta razón, quería dejarles un post muy especial particularmente para aquellas personas que tienen un blog o que quieren comenzar uno. Sin duda alguna no soy una experta en este tema, pero a través de 5 años he aprendido varias cosas y muchas lecciones que estoy segura les servirá de algo. En cuestión a mis logros, no lo he logrado todo, pero me gusta por el camino que estoy yendo. Seguiré trabajando para cumplir todos mis objetivos y lograr todos mis sueños. Esta carrera no es nada fácil y si planeas tomártelo 100% con seriedad- lee todo a continuación!

COMMUNITY IS EVERYTHING

It is extremely easy to get discouraged half way there, believe me, this has been me a million times. You see people posting blurry, dark, not very high quality photos and getting hundreds of likes, no comments, while you on the other hand put so much effort in providing only top notch quality pictures but get 100 likes and 10 people saying they loved it. Which is more valuable? I've learned throughout this years that the people that I've worked with are nowadays less concerned about the number of likes but are more attracted to the engagement of your community. Do people genuinely like you and do they honestly take your advice to heart? or are they just 'there' to stalk you and not contribute anything positively to your page? Brands want genuine interaction- they want to work with people with a true voice. Who is your audience and what do they want from you? I know my audience is mostly 18-34 year olds who love fashion, love great quality pics and also love my crazy-love for cats. Building a community is the hardest thing, it does not happen overnight, and you need to work hard to maintain that community by being true to yourself and by giving them what they ultimately want when they log in to your page. 

TU COMUNIDAD LO ES TODO

Es muy fácil perder el horizonte y sentirse desalentada a mitad del camino- yo me he sentido asi muchísimas veces. Ves en las redes sociales fotografías de baja calidad, borrosas, y no muy lindas con miles de likes, cero comentarios y tu que te esfuerzas tanto por mostrar calidad! Tu apenas recibes 100 likes pero 10 personas dicen que aman tu foto. Ahora, cual es más valioso? He aprendido a través de los años que las marcas hoy en dia le están dando mas importancia a la comunidad y a la interacción que en si a los likes que reciben las personas. Esto es porque esto demuestra que tus seguidores realmente valoran tus posteos y creen en tu palabra. Esta gente está en tu pagina para aportar algo positivo, no para simplemente llenar un espacio. Las marcas quieren trabajar con personas con una voz autentica y verdadera. Ahora: quien es tu audiencia y que quieren de vos? Yo sé que mi audiencia es mayoría mujeres de 18-34 años que aman la moda, que aman fotografías de alta calidad y que también aman mi amor loco por los gatos. Crear una comunidad es la cosa más dificil de todas, no pasa de un dia para el otro y tienes que poner mucho trabajo para mantenerla. Analiza que es lo que les gusta de ti y dales eso. 

HIT THE BOOKS (OR THE WEB)

I come from a family where we believe education is a stepping stone to success. I am by no means saying the you need to go to an Ivy League to be someone, but I know for a fact that everything that I personally have right now is because I squeezed the hell out of my undergrad education at University of Richmond, and I squeezed the hell out of my masters at Parsons. Now do you need to go to school to be a blogger? Absolutely NOT. I know of incredibly successful bloggers who didn't even go to college but I can guarantee you that all those successful bloggers have a lot of knowledge behind them. Do you take this seriously enough to want to make this a full time job? Is your passion so big that you want to earn from this and live from this? Get to work- take a class, an online class, a photography class, a business management class. There's always room for growth and the knowledge that you have about this business is crucial. 

LEE UN LIBRO O DOS

Yo vengo de una familia que le da gran importancia a la educación y creemos que es vital para el éxito en cualquier negocio. No digo en absoluto que tienes que irte a una universidad Ivy League o una carísima para ser alguien- para nada. Sin embargo, si creo que todo lo que yo tengo ahora es altamente influenciado por la educación que tuve. Ahora tienes que irte a la universidad para ser blogger? Absolutamente no. Sé de muchas bloggers que son increíblemente exitosas y no tienen educación universitaria, pero te garantizo que detrás de cada una de ellas vienen muchas horas de estudio de una forma u otra y sin duda alguna mucho conocimiento. Si de verdad quieres hacer esto tu trabajo a tiempo completo, quieres ganar y vivir de esto- ponte a trabajar. Toma un curso, uno online si quieres, toma una clase de fotografía, un curso de administración de empresas. Siempre hay campo para aprender más y todo lo que sepas de este negocio es crucial para tu éxito. 

LEARN WHERE TO INVEST YOUR TIME

I recently learned this and I can't believe I didn't work on this beforehand. Here's the thing: I love taking pictures, love writing blog posts- but turns out where I get most benefits is from Instagram. I have invested SO MUCH time thinking of article topics, writing posts, taking blog-worthy pictures and dedicated the longest time in trying to grow blog readers. Nothing is wrong with that- but by switching up my game I have definitely seen better results. Now this is very personal- you have to see what works best for you and invest more of your time there. It doesn't mean disregarding completely your other projects, but learning to set your priorities straight. 

APRENDE EN DONDE INVERTIR TU TIEMPO

No puedo creer que esto es algo que recientemente he aprendido a manejar. Si me conocen saben que trato de abarcar mas de lo que es estrictamente necesario y es algo que he tenido que aprender con el tiempo. Asi vá la cosa: Amo hacer blog posts, quien sabe es lo que más me gusta hacer y amo tomar fotos también pero quien diría que a veces lo que uno más ama no siempre es donde a uno le va mejor. Resulta que donde yo recibo más beneficios y trabajo es a través de mi Instagram. He gastado sin fin de horas buscando temas para hacer artículos, tomando fotos especiales para el blog y he dedicado muchísimo tiempo tratando de crecer mi seguimiento de lectores- diferente a seguidores (aun más difícil de conseguir). No digo que he perdido mi tiempo, porque sinceramente amo hacerlo, PERO si tienes un area de tu trabajo que te esta dando más beneficios, direccióna mayoría de tu tiempo en eso. No digo que dejes a un lado lo otro- simplemente aprende a poner tus prioridades en orden! 

PROFESSIONALISM WINS THE RACE

There will always be someone prettier than you, richer than you, with a better body than you and to top it all off, with better pictures than you. YES, that's a fact! The blogging world is harsh and to say the least, there are lots of great options for brands to choose from since lately it seems like blogging is the thing to do. Now, I may not have a crazy amount of followers or stunning pictures vacationing in Ibiza, but one thing I know is that I strive to be the best person that I can possibly be with the people I work with. How you work with brands and the professionalism you show them will get you more work in the future than that pretty girl who has thousands of followers and doesn't know to treat first of all- the followers and in the bigger picture, the brand. Show respect to your peers, be kind to others, be professional with your clients- this will get you to the top.

PROFESIONALISMO ANTE TODO

Siempre habrá alguien mas bonita que tu, mas rica que tu, con mejor cuerpo y encima de todo, con mejores fotos que tu!  El mundo de blogging es duro y las marcas tienen muchísimas opciones aparte de ti para escoger. Ahora, yo no tengo millones de seguidores o tengo esas fotos buenísimas vacacionando en Ibiza, pero si me esfuerzo en algo que si puedo tener- eso es en mi profesionalismo. Yo trato lo mas que puedo en ser una cliente responsable, respetuosa y amable con todo aquel que me muestre a mi lo mismo. La forma que tu trates a tu cliente o una marca te dará al final mas trabajo- el mundo es chico, ya lo veras. Te aseguro que si tu demuestras respeto a tus clientes, a tus seguidores, a la marca- el trabajo volverá a ti... y adios, se vá la chica perfecta con millones de seguidores que no mostró profesionalidad. Pruébalo, no tienes nada que perder! 

FOCUS ON YOURSELF

You know how it's ok to be inspired by others? Yes- we get inspired by beautiful things all the time. Do you copy/paste that into your own work? No, that's not acceptable. In order to move forward you need to focus only on yourself and on your OWN goals. If you focus on other people all the time how will you ever innovate? How will you ever be considered a blogger with a true voice? Brands pick you because you have that certain SOMETHING that makes you special and we all have unique and special qualities about ourselves- focus on that, and bring them out! 

ENFOCATE EN TI MISMO

Es fácil inspirarse en otras personas, todos lo hacemos ya que es muy fácil inspirarse en lo que es visualmente hermoso. Es correcto hacerle copiar/pegar a un concepto de otra persona? Claro que no. Pienso firmemente que para llegar a ser alguien en este mundo, pues tienes que dejar tu esencia por donde vayas. La espontaneidad, la transparencia, una voz unica- eso es contagioso. Cada uno de nosotros tenemos esas cualidades que nos hacen únicos y especiales- buscalas y muéstralas. Al final de cuenta eso es lo que la gente quiere ver de ti. 

BOLIVIAMODA 2014- DIA 4

Carla Quiroga, uno de los talentos jóvenes del BoliviaModa nos mostró propuestas con mucho detalle bordado. 

Casa Elena, una empresa con mas de 55 anos de trayectoria, nos trajo lo mejor de moda y tendencias anoche en el BoliviaModa 2014 . Con calzados para la mujer sofisticada, Casa Elena nos mostró propuestas de sus marcas Arezzo, Luz da Lua y Schutz.

Claudia Mercado proponiendo tendencias como los metálicos y las carteras con flecos. 

Destellos en el segundo cuadro de la 4ta noche del BoliviaModa, vistiendo la mujer contemporanea de pies a cabeza.  El cuadro de Destellos fue uno de los pocos que se enfoco en mostrar tendencias para la mujer moderna que se divierte expresando exactamente quien es ella a través de su vestuario. Las dos tendencias que vimos fue la clásica y elegante colección de "Lady-Like" inspirada en Chanel y una mas descontraida y rebelde como la del mundo Punk Rock. 

"Supay" la coleccion de la marca Diabla, fue una perfecta fusion entre el arte y el diseño. Con mucha inspiración en nuestra cultura Boliviana, Diabla fue una de las mas lindas sorpresas de la noche. 

Roxy del Rio, Fabiola Villaroel y Camila Manzano modelando en el cuadro de Ernesto Barahona. 

Essentia, la marca de las jovenes Yasmile Salvatierra y Ma.Jose Rosales, se enfoco en estampas animal print con mucho contraste. El color morado fue el protagonista.

Ingrid Holters con su colección "El Cielo en La Tierra" se presento por segunda vez este BoliviaModa. Andrea Herrera abrió el cuadro. 

Jimena Romero y su colección que se enfoco en tonos muy suaves y delicados. 

La model INKA en el cuadro de L'aranja Jeans. 

Luis Daniel Agreda, uno de los mas aplaudidos de la noche, nos trajo su colección llamada "Aurora"- una colección inspirada en la mitología griega. 

Nautica presento una coleccion colorida y contemporánea- inspirada por el velerismo y las aventuras maritimas. 

La colección mas divertida de la noche fue aquella de lo diseñadores Daniel Ghetti y Marco Gutierrez de la marca Papingo Maminga. Su colección "Puro Cuento" fue un éxito total. 

Rosamar y su colección inspirada en el glamour de old Hollywood. 

Rosita Hurtado abrio la ultima noche del BoliviaModa con su colección de Gala- una colección con mucho brillo, lentejuela, bordado y color. 

Salome/Salomon y su linea de muchos "streetstyle" looks. 

Cerrando el BoliviaModa 2014 con broche de oro, WEISE se presento con su colección Feroz. La mas aplaudida de todos fue Erickita Suarez Weise ya que con su colección demostró el gran talento que la convierte a ella en una de las mejores diseñadoras Bolivianas. 

Y asi finaliza mi trabajo de los 4 días del BoliviaModa. Durante las próximas semanas estaré mostrando fotos exclusivas de mis diseñadores favoritos al igual que un post sorpresa que se que a todos les encantara. Muchas gracias por seguirme, por el apoyo y el cariño! <3 THE BIG BROWN EYES
